INFJs unite!

Fooling around with Myers-Briggs, I found out my type: INFJ. What can I say? We're a pain in the ass.

I hear there's a type called The Author, but I'll be damned if I know which one it is.

Are you surprised? Pretty sure, anyway.

Also was pretty sure it was this one that was author. But who knows.

It's somewhere in Mayer's notes he does in his solo presentation. The author is the opposite of the promoter.

I *think* I'm INFJ.

I absolutely believe it. When I first read about the intuition and mystical stuff, I thought, this is Heidi.

Then I read about the oversensitivity and the need to help (everyone, everywhere), and though, huh, that's me too.

Hi, it's Snoskred here. I found you via Nablopomo last year. I'm just dropping by to let you know that I read your blog with google reader whenever you update, and that I enjoy your blog. I'm re-doing my links on my blog, and I have linked to you in the sidebar.

I think these personality tests can be really useful sometimes. ;)

Hey Aunt Brooke,

I've taken the Myers-Brigg before. I was found to be an ENTP. Called the Inventor, I believe.

Hey Jeff - Somehow I am not surprised by that. :)

According to the hilarious site Wendryn found (thank you, W!), that makes you a mad scientist. Well done.

It makes me a conspiracy theorist. Which fits right in with the constant suspicion.

OMG. Seriously? I'm an INFJ too! (So is Robin L.) I think it's a writerly thing. :)

I took the full official test from the institute 3 or 4 years back in a counseling class. They sent each of us a (pages long) personality profile. It was weird how accurate the profile was. Everything but the part about sex was right. ::shrug::

Here's an interesting site:
http://www.infj.org/public/infjness.html

THe INFJ is the Counsellor. I belive the Author is one letter off. INFP maybe?

THis site calls us The Protector:

http://www.personalitypage.com/INFJ.html

While this one calls us the Mystic:

http://www.geocities.com/lifexplore/infj.htm

And finally, the writer part:

"Usually self-expression comes more easily to INFJs on paper, as they tend to have strong writing skills. Since in addition they often possess a strong personal charisma, INFJs are generally well-suited to the "inspirational" professions such as teaching (especially in higher education) and religious leadership. Psychology and counseling are other obvious choices..." from this site:
http://typelogic.com/infj.html

And, yes, I understand it's very INFJ of me to be so into this. :)
